December
The Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.
January
Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Come Holy Spirit,
Fill our hearts with love.
Amen.
February
Grace before Meals
Bless us, O Lord,
And these thy gifts,
Which we are about to receive,
From thy bounty,
Through Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
March
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father,
And to the Son,
And to the Holy Spirit:
As it was in the beginning,
Is now, and ever shall be,
World without end.
Amen.
April (and Lenten Season)
Lenten Story
During Lent long ago,
In countries far away.
The people made a bread that would
Remind them they should pray.
Some water, salt, and flour
Were mixed with great care.
Then the dough was shaped like arms,
That cross the hear in prayer.
We, too, can have this twisted bread,
On any Lenten day.
The little pretzel is still here,
Reminding us to pray.
Prayer of Devotion
Oh my God,
I give You this day.
All that I think, and do, and say.
I give You my love with Jesus Your Son.
Today I will try to love everyone.
Amen.
May
The Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with thee!
Blessed are you, among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners.
Now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
June
Prayer of Thanks
We give You thanks, Almighty God,
For all Your benefits.
You live and reign,
Now and forever.
