Dress Code
OFFICIAL SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY
Uniforms indicate membership, community, cooperation, spirit of camaraderie, and a common agreement of values among those who wear them. Holy Angels School uniforms enable students to represent and participate in the membership of a strong, loving, Catholic community.
Students wear the Holy Angels uniform with pride: pride in themselves and in their school. Holy Angels School encourages each student’s uniqueness within the learning community.
Our uniforms provide choices, acknowledge individuality, and maintain a dignified presence.
Holy Angels School takes great pride in the students who wear the uniform and all that the uniform represents.
GIRLS
Grades PK - 5TH: Plaid uniform jumper or skort (no shorter than 3 inches above the knee in length), navy or khaki walking shorts or long pants. White peter pan collar blouse with short sleeves or white or green polo with logo. Uniform shirts must be tucked in.
Grades 6th - 8th: Plaid skirt or skort (no shorter than 3 inches above the knee in length), navy or khaki walking shorts or long pants. White sport collar blouse with short sleeves or white or green polo with logo. Uniform shirts must be tucked in. If wearing shorts or pants a belt is required.
BOYS
Grades PK - 8TH: Solid navy blue or khaki long pants or walking shorts. White or green polo shirt with logo. Uniform shirt must be tucked in. Belts must be worn and may only be solid black, brown or navy. No large extreme belt buckles are allowed.
PK
PK students may wear their PE uniform any day of the week.
MANDATORY DRESS CODE FOR MASS
Holy Angels celebrates Mass as a community every Friday and on any Holy Days throughout the year. Dress uniform is required at all Masses. For girls this consists of the jumper, long pants, skirt or skort and a white Holy Angels polo shirt. For boys the required Mass uniform is the long pant and the Holy Angels white polo.
PLAIDS, SWEATERS, AND SPECIALTY ITEMS
All girls’ plaid skirts, skorts, and jumpers, as well as sweaters and other specialty items are available at CKW in Temple City.
PE UNIFORM
Holy Angels grey t-shirt and green mesh short are to be worn on PE days (unless we are attending Mass. Then proper Mass attire is required and students will change later).
SPECIALTY T-SHIRTS
Fiesta, jockey game, and other spirit wear t-shirts may be worn on PE days and other specified days. T-shirts may be worn for one year only. No over-sized t-shirts allowed.
