Bio
Welcome
Bienvenidos a la clase de espanol. My name is Dianne Alejandra Martinez, and I am the
Spanish teacher at Holy Angels! This is my first year at Holy Angels, and I am very excited to
teach the students a foreign language and further enhance the knowledge they already
have about the language and the culture.
A little bit about me: I have a little poodle maltese named Coco, and he is my wonderful
baby boy! I enjoy going to amusement parks, watching movies, going on walks, reading,
football, and baking. I am also a big Disney and Marvel fan.
Education and Professional Background
I earned my associate’s degree in history from Cerritos Community College. Then I
transferred over to California State University, Fullerton where I earned my Bachelor of
Science degree in Child Development. I also attended Pepperdine University where I
started my master’s degree in education. I have been teaching for about 6 years now and
can’t wait to grow more.
Educational Philosophy
I firmly believe that education should nurture the whole child—academically, socially, and
spiritually. With six years of experience in elementary and bilingual classrooms, I have seen
how language builds bridges between cultures and fosters empathy. As a Spanish teacher
that is joining Holy Angels, I strive to create a joyful, faith-filled environment where students
feel valued, inspired to learn, and empowered to grow into compassionate, lifelong learners.
